MERKEL MARKET DAYS

Merkel Market Days is fast approaching, and if you have not decided on what kind of booth you would like to have, especially an exclusive  food booth, you need to go by  Carter Insurance and pay your deposit.  A deadline of February 1st has already passed for those that had spoken for but not paid the deposit, so those booths became open for the first come, first serve with the money    This will be a big event for Merkel, potentially being advertised through the state by mailings to vendors,  Chambers of Commerce, internet and other avenues.  President Alan Lovelace urges those wanting to participate to go by Carter Insurance or download an application from http://www.merkeltx.com.

Merkel Chamber of Commerce would like to welcome a new business opening in Merkel and wish them great success.    B & B Body Shop, 158 N. 1st St. is owned by D. A. Bishop.  Hours are from 8 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday thru Friday.  D.
